Who am I?
I’m a 22 year old Law graduate from London, who admittedly spent more time in department stores than I ever did in the library or courtroom, and this is my blog documenting my forays into the world of men’s grooming and skincare
Why blog?
Well, in all honesty i’m frustrated with traditional media outlets that haven’t much evolved from the limited shower/shave concept of men’s grooming, and lag way behind women’s skincare. While grooming in general for men is enjoying a retro renaissance, I feel like some brands are taking advantage of this, and (some!) men’s ignorance, to peddle us ‘men’s products’ that appeases our sense of masculinity, but not our skin!
While I enjoy reading the men’s grooming blogs that give us testosterone-fuelled manuals on such things such as: how to shave with a piece of flint when you’re lost in the wild, i’m instead joining the growing group of male-grooming bloggers, who aim to not only provide the guides to skincare you actually need in a no nonsense manner, but also do reviews on (in)effective products that aren’t just geared towards the male market.

Preach. My boyfriend and I had a conversation a few nights back about the foray of brands into the male grooming category. We decided that so much of it is just “manly” packaging and has nothing to do with the actual efficacy of the product. I appreciate what you’re doing with this blog, and I will point my boyfriend your way!
